Search Help

Basic Usage: You can simply enter the types or places you would like to visit on holiday. This type of search is called keyword searching and will return all entries that contain any of the words you enter. Holidays that contain more of your words are ranked higher in the results.

Phrase Searches: You can perform a 'Phrase' search by encompassing a phrase in double quotes. For example if you entered South Africa, the search would locate all uses of the words South and Africa. However, if you enter "South Africa" the results would only contain the phrase "South Africa". This can also be combined with the basic search options, for example: camping beaches "South Africa"

Excluding and Including Keywords: It is possible to tell the search that a certain keyword should never be used in the results. To do this simply add a - (minus) sign to the beginning of the word. For example a search of '"South Africa" -camping' would find all results in South Africa that did NOT include camping. You can also use the + (plus) sign in front of keywords to ensure a keyword is always present in the results.
